About Aden Brook
At Aden Brook we are professional hay men, we are dedicated to sourcing and delivering consistent quality hay to our customers year after year. We love what we do; we are passionate about our hay, our customers, our farmers and our trucks. It all started when Nick Fitzpatrick was a boy, he would sit on a rock wall and watch the neighbor farmer make hay each summer. He was intrigued by the process and loved the smell and sounds of it. When he was old enough the farmer let Nick ride the tractor and help stack in the wagon. By age 15 Nick rented hay equipment and started making hay on another farm he rented near the aden brook (a stream that’s runs off of aden hill where he grew up) . Soon came the challenge of marketing and delivering the hay that he had baled all summer. This he found to be the most interesting part and as soon as he was sixteen and could drive he purchased a dually pickup and a flatbed trailer. Nick went out and found customers and when he sold all his hay he decided that he could purchase it from other farmers, deliver it and make a profit. Just like that Nick was a hay dealer at age 16 with a lot to learn.
Many hard lessons were learned in the next 10 years….
Today Aden Brook Agri Sales is a small experienced company closely managed by Nick. We source hay all over the country having a vast knowledge of where the good weather was for making hay last season and what kind of hay is there. We take our trucks and travel there to pick out the best hay suited for the needs of our customers and overcome the logistical challenges of hauling it long distance to the delivery. We take pride in knowing the hay we sell, the farmers that make it and every mile of road to the customer. Our full menu of hay and straw products includes all types of hay and in different qualities specific to different customers’ needs. Our delivery services are second to none. We have custom built trucks made just for hauling large loads of hay and getting in to different types of farms. Our crews and drivers are professionals in stacking hay neatly and leaving the customer happy and the work of putting it away and cleaning up completed. Almost every day, you can find Nick somewhere in the countryside loading or delivering hay in one of his choice peterbilt trucks.

Joan is the Office Manager and handles all aspects of accounting. She has been with the company for over 3 years, and is the main contact for anything dealing with payment or company information. Joan also deals with all the distributors and is the main person who keeps everyone happy!

Miriam is the sales and invoicing department in the office, as well as Nick’s personal assistant (and sister). She quotes prices, books trucking, invoices the customers, does the paperwork for the company and keeps Nick in check. She will be the one that you talk to if you call in to order!

Nick is the owner of Aden Brook. Growing up in rural NY Nick began to experiment with a variety of different fields in the agriculture department. Nick finally settled down to sorting, grading, selecting and delivering hay, straw and shavings. Nick has been in hay business over 12 years now, and is also our most knowledgeable salesman. Nick takes great pride in his ability to find whatever a customer needs; naming all his trucks, and driving his two favorite trucks: truck #HAYGUY and his pride and joy truck #HAYYOU.

John is the newest addition to the Aden Brook team. He works with the crew loading and unloading trucks, as well as driveing trucks for full deliveries. He has also taken an interest in door to door marketing of our quality products.
Jim:
Jim is one of our best truck drivers. He has been driving for over 30 years and has mastered the art of maneuvering trucks in any situation. Jim has been hauling hay for Aden Brook for over two years now, and is the master and commander of truck #LOWHAY!
Juan:
Juan is one of our top loaders and hardest workers. He has been with us for over 8 years and loaded thousands of trucks. He manages a crew of stackers and normally works in the NY region. He operates our smallest truck #HAYCREW
Pete:
Pete is our part time truck driver. He delivers full loads of hay and operates truck #HAYRIDE.
Rusty:
Rusty is the newest driver to the company. He comes to us with years of trucking experience and is an expert driver. He is truly remarkable at backing in to tight places. He operates a 379 peterbilt
We also have a variety of owner operators/carriers who deliver for us, as needed.
