About Our Trucks
At Aden Brook we love our trucks. They work hard for us and we expect them to deliver load after load sometimes under very difficult conditions and in very tight places. We operate a fleet of almost all Peterbilts that have been custom built and matched with trailers exclusively for hauling hay. All of our trucks sport our custom hay tags which also serve at their truck number.
We have several configurations and lengths to accommodate different load sizes and driveways.
Below are examples our trucks and the loads that they carry.
Our standard tractor and step deck trailers hold approximately 860 2 string bales – 24 to 28 ton depending on the weight of the bales
Our largest truck and trailer holds approximately 1030 2 string bales – 28 to 33 ton depending on the weight of the bales
Our standard 53’ van trailers hold approximately 650 bales (18 to 22 ton) of 2 string hay or up to 1404 bags of wood shavings.
Our 25’ straight trucks hold approximately 400 (12 to 15ton) of 2 string bales or 720 bags of wood shavings.
Our smallest truck is a 16’ flatbed truck for very tight driveways and holds up to 200 (5 to 7 ton) of 2 string bales or 440 bags of wood shavings.
Several of our trucks have extensive restoration work done to them and all are kept in top working condition as well as cleaned and polished as much as possible given our schedule. We bring them to truck shows when we have time and recently our truck #HAYYOU won 2nd place at the Diesel National show in Englishtown NJ. We will be heading to more shows soon with truck #HAY-YOU, HAY-RIDE and HAY-JOHN.
