Premium 2nd cut orchard grass hay in 2 string bales is used by a variety of farms or animals that require soft highly palatable hay. Alpacas, goats and older horses love this hay because there is very little stem and all leaf. The hay is green, soft, sweet smelling and is baled in 45 to 65lb bales depending on the batch. Full trailer loads of this hay are 880 bales/26 ton. If you are in our full service area we can also deliver smaller loads from 5 to 15 ton and provide our unloading and stacking service.

Premium Western Orchard grass in 3 string bales is possibly one of the softest, sweetest and greenest types of hay on earth. It can be fed too many types of animals and is the best type of hay to feed Alpacas, Lamas, Goats and sheep. It is also fed to horses by some stables that prefer soft green hay. The hay will normally test around 16 to 17% protein with a higher percentage of Neural Detergent Fiber and RFV around 120. This hay is baled in aprox 100lb 3 string bales. It is shipped on van trailers of approximately 380/22 ton and is somewhat difficult to unload. We recommend that you have our crew unload if you are in our full service area.

Premium Orchard Alfalfa mix hay in 2 string bales is fed too many different type of animals. A lot of polo clubs as well as some performance and breeding horse stables feed this type of hay. It is a soft, sweet smelling mixture of orchard 2nd cutting and approximately 20 to 30% alfalfa. This hay also feeds very well to dairy goats and other milk producing animals that need a high protein hay that is palatable. The hay will normally test around 16% protein with a RFV around 120. It is in 65lb 2 string bales and is delivered on our flatbed trucks that hold aprox 880 bales/ 27 ton. If you are in our full service area we can offer you smaller loads 5 to 15 ton if necessary as well as provide our unloading service.
